Rental car
Approximately 75–90 minutes from Tromsø by car, depending on conditions. Hatteng lies right next to the E6, and the drive leads through scenic Arctic landscape — ideal if you are comfortable driving in snowy conditions or travelling as a group.
Public bus
Depart from Tromsø Prostneset and get off at Hatteng (Storfjord-Omasvuotna-Omasvuono). Always check the latest timetable before travelling.

A seasonal winter connection between Tromsø and Rovaniemi. It boards at Scandic hotel in Tromsø and stops at Storfjord church near Hatteng. Comfortable seats, Wi-Fi, charging sockets and an on-board WC.
