We invite you to join us on a fun snowmobile safari in varied terrain — where the locals drive.
You will explore a nature area outside of Tromsø, in the Lyngenfjord region, with great views of the Arctic snow-covered mountains. The tour starts from our basecamp in Hatteng, Storfjord.
Conditions in the Arctic change quickly; your guide adapts the route to weather and snow for a safe experience.

What is included, and are there age or licence requirements?+

How do I get to the basecamp?+
Our basecamp is in Hatteng, Storfjord — not in Tromsø city centre. Approximately 75–90 minutes from Tromsø by car, depending on conditions. You can also travel by public bus or, in season, the Arctic Route bus. See Getting Here.
Can I combine the safari with an overnight stay?+
Yes — many guests pair a safari with a night in an AuroraHut glass igloo at the basecamp. Book each in our booking system, or contact us for help planning.
